What is going on this season?!?! if you showed me these rosters in the pre-season i'd laugh in your face and then throw-up in your pillow case. The one constant for each of these team is that they each only have ONE consistantly high scoring player. Manning, Brees, Graham and Thomas. Is that all you need these days? My hope is that bye weeks kill them, with the exception of brooklyn beatdown the rest of these teams have little to no depth, which was my overall draft stratetgy, draft for depth and win weeks 4-12. so far, so bad. not only that one league i have too much depth.
Top Backs and Wide Receivers on MardukasScaresDColl
Arian Foster, Alfred Morris, Chris Johnson, Giovanni Bernard
Andre Johnson, Desean Jackson, Josh Gordon,Pierre Garcon
The Owen Daniels injury hurt. With that being said i can't get anyone to trade with.
Enough bitching. Lets get to this weeks matchups.
Top two matchups from the slider shack leagues.
Siragusa's Slider Shack Matchup 1-
"Til Fantasy Football do us part. War of the Knowltons."
Paltry Raiders 2-3 vs Team Olson 4-1
I've already showed you above what team olson is working with. Taking on her hubby, who has arguably one of the deepest teams in the league. going into the season with Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Bush and CJ Spiller, Team manger and defending champion Ben Knowlton had already crowned himself a repeat champion, but thus far he's turn out to be who we thought he was. This week he's jumped on the justin blackmon band wagon and started him over Anquan Boldin and Julian Edleman. Blackmon has a decent chance of having a big game largely in part of the garbage time passing yards that could potentially be out there. Eitherway, i don't think this game will be close any team starting both rashard mendenhall and the lawfirm, both of whom are no longer the #1 backs on their teams, doesn't stand a chance. Daddy gets the W, and the pants of the family.
Siragusa's Slider Shack Matchup 2-
"The Rivalry"
MardukasScaresDColl 1-4 vs Go Dan 2-3
I don't normally preview my own matchups, but this one has potential playoff implications. If i lose this game, i can all but kiss the playoffs goodbye, and the same can be said for Dan, who would fall at least 3 games back from his division's leader. To top it all off, Dan Coll has historically destroyed me in fantasy football. A bounce back win vs a falling legend would be oh so sweet. Dan Coll has invested two wr positions to Green Bay Packers (james jones and randall cobb), which leaves a lot of todays result in the hands of Aaron Rodgers vs the Ravens defense. I'm going with Baltimore at home who hasn't lost to an NFC opponent at home in years. The battle of the running backs in this matchup pins Alfred Morris and Arian Foster vs Jamal Charles and Darren Sproles. Speed and catches out of the backfield vs power downhill running. Charles at home vs the raiders will without question have the best week of the 4, but this think foster will be close behind. The deciding factor will be Sproles in foxboro. As he showed in Chicago last week, he struggles outdoors where his ability to make dramatic cuts is hindered, and i don't think that changes this week. Morris vs Sproles, with alfred coming off of bye goes to Al. This week Mardukas makes a statement.
Somali Pirates Only Round up
Hawaiian Meth Lab 3-2 vs Tx Midnight Cock 3-2
The more 3-3 teams in our league the better (for me). Roz is playing without his starting QB this week and gone with Alex Smith as his replacement. Safe, with the benefit of dwayne bowe on the Rooster's roster should cancel out any chance of bowe matching Brandon Marshall's already gaudy thursday night total. The one questionable play cooking in the meth lab is sticking with Joique Bell over the likes of Greg Jennings (coming off of a bye week) and safer bet brandon hartline. Hern has Adrian Peterson playing, which in light of his recent family tragedy must simply need this game to get his mind off of the terrible events of last week in which he lost his son. I can't imagine what he's going through right now, and the thought of losing a child the way he has makes me sick. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family. AP might break records this week. The rooster crows bright and early monday morning with another W on his shelf.
Team Lesnar 3-2 vs Lebron Janikowskiiiis 3-2
Lesnar regrets picking up bradford vice terrel pryor and loses a close one.
Chalupa Batman 2-3 vs Team Taylorgang Reed 4-1
Kaepernick returns to fantasy stub form, paired with Ronnie Hillman's breakout fantasy performance take down Peyton Manning and reeds gaggle of scrubs.
Vinegar Strokes 1-4 vs Jay Cutler's Arm 1-4
Battle of the bottom. The ape rides woodhead's emergence to another L, and becomes the sole 1 win team of the league, my how the mighty have fallen.
DopeAssOriental 3-2 vs Death Via Aerial Assault 3-2
Ryan Matthews and Kendall Hunter vs Alfred Morris and LeSean McCoy. Need i say more? The Champ gains some buffer room.
Stankmeener's Watugondo 2-3 vs South Beach Rain Makers 3-2
Brandon Jacobs? really? Swag takes it.
Mardukas' Sleepy Sleepers Simply Sleeping
QB - Andy Dalton - After a very unimpressive start to the season, Dalton shakes it off and has his best game of the season vs the injury plagued buffalo bills and their practice squad QB.
RB - Leveon Bell - The steelers want to run, what we saw in london was just a preview. Leveon Bell arrives today.
WR - Jerome Simpson - He's already had two 100 yard games this season, he'll be cementing his relevance today vs the cardiac cats.

Obviously, i'm literally banking on a shoot out between the saints and patriots. I'm leaning towards the brees lineup, which i feel is safer, but who knows what i'll be thinking in an hour....with that being said, as always
